That’s the first icon on the raw on camera.
What do Annotations Include?
You can expand the menu and choose from:
- stickers
- disappearing ink
- change the color
- sticky notes
- textbook
- lines and shapes
- easily erase.
What are some Annotation Tips?
[Edited] Annotations are saved with the Google Meet meeting recordings.
You can appoint co-annotator. By going to the participants list from the three dots menu beside their name.
To use Annotations choose to subscribe to any of those Google Workspace editions:
- Business Starter, Standard, and Plus
- Enterprise Starter, Standard, and Plus
- Frontline Starter and Standard
- Essentials, Enterprise Essentials, and Enterprise Essentials Plus
- Education Standard, Plus, the Teaching & Learning Upgrade
- Workspace Individual – note that this is country specific

How to use Annotations on Mobile Devices?
You can use Annotations on your Android devices by presenting your entire screen. On Apple devices Annotations work only when a web user has appointed you to be the co-annotator.
Google Annotations in Google work meetings is expanding to Hardware devices too.
