Switch between Meeting in a Documents and in Meet
Google’s innovative functionality allowing users to switch between meeting in a document and in Meet is a shift in mindset! It is keeping the participants on the document’s focus topics, reducing the time of the meeting thus fighting meeting fatigue as well. We start by bringing a meeting in a document ( Docs Sheet Slides). You can present the document in one tab in the meeting there. You can’t present other tabs while meeting in a document. To present other tabs move in Meet. Note how to move in Meet by clicking on the pop-up icon. So you either click the Meet icon in a document or the pop-up icon depending on the tabs you wish to present. That’s how you switch. Fore reference go to this article from Google Meet Help Center Use Google Meet with Google Docs, Sheets and Slides.
To use the feature Google Meet video meeting from Google Docs, Sheets, or Slides, you must use a computer with a Chrome or Edge browser.

- Unstable network and you are on wi-fi, move closer to your router.
- Avoid activities that heavily use your internet connection.
- Connection delay due to system load. Close browser tabs you don’t need.
- Make sure your laptop fans are not blocked
- For Computer Power problems use phone for audio.

Google is sending automated notifications about technical issues, referred to as “Gentle quality notifications”.
Follow from the red or yellow dot you will notice on the menu. A notification red dot will be displayed for up to 5 minutes, or for about as long as an issue remains visible in the real-time graphs in Troubleshooting & help. Notifications are displayed only once per day. Notifications are only displayed for issues that also have a measurable quality impact that most users would find clearly noticeable or disturbing
