My Personal Marketing Mantra for Success
One of my teachers used to say – it takes up to two hours to introduce the main concept of marketing, but for some people, an entire life is not enough to understand it and/or apply it. Digital marketing does not change that too much, but at least the opportunity for anyone of us who today is dealing with the art of understanding clients and their needs, is even bigger.
With that in mind I am looking at my interview with @Martina Čizmić for the Croatian Zimo published just recently – https://zimo.dnevnik.hr/clanak/cak-90-posto-podataka-danas-je-nestrukturirano-i-nitko-ih-ne-analizira-a-skrivaju-pravo-blago—483356.html
Even with my Croatian it was not hard to find the three key takeaways (Thank you, Martina 🙂 ) I was trying to share during this special CMOment at the IBM Think Marketing Forum (http://bit.ly/2f1IM6t), held in Zagreb:
* Today’s world generates 2.5 quintillion bytes of data – roughly the equivalent of over half a billion high definition movie downloads, yet there are more writers than readers.
* Finding and understanding clients and their needs is now more than a two-way process and the fact that today’s CMOs are likely to spend more on technology than CIOs, points that cognitive technologies are a game changer in this play.
* Clearly cognitive technologies and IBM Watson can help here and if you want to find more on that – hurry and book your seat at IBM’s premier regional forum for South East Europe – Watson SEE Summit: https://ibm.co/2tXn4r5
In Opatija, you may be able to find out how to always be able to step into the shoes of your clients and see the world through their eyes, so that you can find them easier and they could find you and your service even more easier.
