An appealing inclusive message from Google Could Next 19 Conference taking place in San Francisco on the 9th till the 11th of April is catching the attention. The message relates to the multi- dimensional value of time in the enterprise management and it resonates on all levels of every organisation these days.
what previously took years is now taking days
Anthos Hybrid Game Changer
The newly announced Google product responds to the demand of the integrated world of enterprises, businesses, education and public sector. With Anthos enterprises can:
- modernise right now
- have cross cloud mobility automated
- change decision making based on consistency and security
I was pleasantly surprised to see on stage top leading companies as SISCO, Philips, VMWare and a big number of Google Partners who are leveraging digital transformation with Google Technologies. One can’t skip the impressive comparison of Google Data Centers capital plan for 2019 worth enough steel to built 12 Eiffel Towers, or 121 200 tons of steel based on Wikipedia article record of the tower’s material Eiffel Towers (22:12)
Multi-Cloud Hybrid Productivity
Even the President of Google Cloud Thomas Kurian tested the limits of G Suite and Calendar while handling his own numerous responsibilities with engineering and Google Cloud partners. What’s typical for the scaled solutions Google is having in center with Anthos is the single consistent way of running the applications
- on premise
- in the cloud
- across clouds
The Keynote at Google Cloud Next 19 impressed me with the real time use cases where datasets mobility demo was running on Amazon. Athos Hybrid claims to be the only one cloud solution efficiently running applications in multi-cloud. More processes have been shouted out on stage in action during The Keynote such as zero downtime life migration of SAP application, remaining running and available. (1:20:10)
Google is shaping the trends for 2020 from zero to infinity responding to the multi-cloud strategy demand of our online integrated world. Looking forward to the serverless spotlight on the Agenda for the next days of Google Cloud Next 19.
The Conference Keynote relates to my notes from “Apricot 2019″event touching on Content Engineering
