Andre Amorim #FSF is the Trust model! I’m sure David agrees. I’m quoting for easy reading:
“Free Software Foundation Europe is a charity that empowers users to control technology.Software is deeply involved in all aspects of our lives; and it is important that this technology empowers rather than restricts us. Free Software gives everybody the rights to use, understand, adapt and share software. These rights help support other fundamental freedoms like freedom of speech, press and privacy”.
Thank you so much for valuable comment!

The meaning of cryptographic trust
The word “trust” has many meanings. The cryptographic meaning of the term is very specific, and should be handled with care.
In our day to day lives, the word “trust” has a very fuzzy meaning. It generally pertains to how we feel about the other people in our lives, however, and relates to things like whether we think someone can keep a secret, pay back a personal loan, or take care of our pets while we are away on a business or vacation trip.

ps-> Because cryptography enthusiasts like me have that ‘special’ relationship with trust itself. I really like the idea of “Smart Contracts” funnily explained by bytecoin team …
The main difference between the Smart Contract and the traditional one is that it is executed automatically, and breaking a Smart Contract is harder than stopping Godzilla from destroying Tokyo. Neither party can negotiate with a Smart Contract nor bribe it. If the conditions of the contract are met, it will execute exactly what was written in it.

Regards #Trust itself I think 15 years ago I was bit involved with my Tutor’s project called FREEICP, http://www.postcogito.org/PublicationsInEnglish/pki03-v15.pdf on that time we used to think what is the best way to build a trust model … pros and cons of centralized hierarchical Vs distributed web-of-trust .. etc.. There are load of trust models and protocols
