With this description Currents app was introduced during the panel “Engage Employees with Currents” at Cloud Next ’19. The list of newly released features of Currents are:

  • Leaders Spotlight.
  • Custom Streams.
  • Quality discussion and evergreen content.
  • Hashtags. Follow hashtags.

Ultimately content is in the center of how Currents facilitated by the Content Admin shall operate. In publishing, art, and communication, content is the information and experiences that are directed towards an end-user or audience, as per Wikipedia In the instance of Currents with G Suite it reflects on internal communication within the organisation.

The association of the word “Current” is a constant flow of movement ( in a river), flow of electricity, something happening now and up-to-date. having reached up to here. Think of a natural communicator with diplomacy on top of their skill who is digital savvy to assign them the Content Admin role for your organisation.
