Automate Work
The author of Forbes article Anthony Karcz addresses a Gsuite update to be a huge one and defines it as “breaking the cycle”. Another difference to note is one doesn’t need to code to automate the tasks with Macros functionality.
The Google Sheets macro recorder lets you record actions (no matter how micro) and play them back on command without having to write any code.

The main problem for regular users to adopt macros is the same we have seen on Microsoft Excel for more than a decade… “language syntax” Google sheets team could invest some money and time building a nice product based on blocky …
“A global push to broaden participation in computer science has led to an explosion of interest in blocks-based programming. Visual blocks are used by numerous programming tools (see the sidebar). Millions of students receive their first exposure to programming via these tools in courses and activities like Code.org’s Hour of Code. Blocks allow beginners to compose programs without struggling with the frustrations of syntax “

Thank you, Andre! I didn’t know blocks are first exposure for students. I’m sure that programming should stick to traditional education and start from the basics for beginners. It’s one thing if I want to automate my personal posts for social media and another thing to create a cloud-based model for the administration in a hospital.
I’m not a fan of over-simplifying, generally.

Coding should be easy to avoid cognitive overload .. My dream is to see Machine Learning and Data Science taking that pathway …
I think there is already research on that direction ..
